The key to the success is AI points and a flat map with out any bottlenecks so the AI's can just drive across the map to attack with out any issues :-) The first thing is to choose which existing mods will serve. I have a C2Q 9400, 2GB RAM, 2 GeForce 9600GTs in SLI and using 3 Sorian AIs on a 20X20 map with 750 unit limit never goes below -2 simspeed even 2 hours into the game. I have Longhorn (vista server) 64 so I can't make the maps myself with map maker or else I would :-(Īs most people know the AI gets units stuck on hills, water, etc. You can use Duncanes AI fix in tandem with Sorians AI, but the AI is what sucks up processing power.
